Response to Levi's blog on anamnesis.  Anamnesis - definition:  a recalling to mind, remeberence.

1.  It seem that from the age of 2-3 we have strong memories except when it comes to what our peers want us to do.  We know where every toy is, every book, our blanky and all the fairy tales read to us.  We seem to have a our minds and want to stick to it.  Somewhere along the lines of being told "no" from then on basically takes that strong memory and will away.  "you are coming of age, give up your imagination and fantacies", "grow up, get with it", "I am you father or mother or guardian, you must do as I say"...do these words sound familiar?

Like we know and be reminded of in class...we know who we are and what we want and teachers and mentors are great reminders of  that knowing....parents and guardians just seem to want to rip it out and throw it away.

2.  Also like Michael stated in class....paper and pens have dim the lights on remembering/memory.  Maybe even the industrialization of the world...TV, radio, newspaper, magaizine, the internet and I could go on.  All these things could be clouding the intercept or waves of recalling what we know vs. using those other items to learn what we think we need to know.
